In my eyeball soup modeling project, my initial concept was centered around the idea of contrast. To achieve this, I created a warm and inviting room, yet at its center sat a delicate cup filled with gruesome eyeball soup, forming a stark contrast with the cozy surroundings.

For the overall style of the room, I aimed to blend elements of horror and warmth, which reminded me of the famous animated film Snow White. Inspired by its aesthetic, I adopted a medieval classical English style for my design. In the early sketching phase, I explored various elements related to Snow White, such as apples, roses, skulls, and mirrors. However, when it came to the actual production in Blender, I encountered numerous technical challenges. Due to limitations in time and skill, many of the more intricate ideas couldn’t be fully realized in the final piece.

During the lighting stage, I primarily chose warm tones to create a cozy atmosphere. To enhance the realism of the lighting and shadows, I modeled tree leaves and used their shadows to cast natural patterns through the window. This helped make the overall light and shadow effects feel more authentic.

I set the scene in a bright and sunny morning—a time that typically evokes warmth and comfort. Yet, in this very morning light, the room’s owner is preparing to bask in the sunshine while indulging in a gruesome bowl of eyeball soup, adding an eerie contrast to the otherwise tranquil setting.
For the photography, I experimented with different angles to capture the entire room while also taking close-up shots to highlight the details of the eyeball soup.
